Karl, I believe my aunt is in your neck of the woods . At 80, she’s had many procedures and surgeries - including RE-dos - on her spine and neck. I’m happy to report she is still an active muralist - busy with lots of travel, love of life, and living well. I can only hope you have the same relief and benefits she has - and my prayers and thoughts are with you!

Karl, one of our best PM&R doctors came to us from Meritor in Madison. I emailed him with a brief description from your report and asked for a recommendation. He said "Seth Williams, my go-to. (OrthoSpine).. Neurosurgery is okay for spine, too, probably Resnick. "

I have heard both those names in the past, esp. Seth Williams. Hope this helps.

Wishing you the best treatment possible, Karl, and that your issues can be addressed soon to relieve the discomfort you are suffering.

My brother had this type of surgery at Froedtert in Milwaukee about 10 years ago and his recovery was very good but there was a large window for recovery from this type of surgery. Hope this is encouraging but know that patience for healing may be required. You can do this!

Dr Hanna was who they set me up with for the first part of Nov.
I looked him up online and he is a Neurosurgery professor.
Can you ask your friend about him please?
