I hope this is okay to ask here. I have been browsing pricescope for months and finally chose a diamond. Somehow there was miscommunication with my soon to be fiance though. I had found a diamond I really wanted and he told me to go ahead and purchase it with our account, so I went ahead and bought it not knowing that he had already purchased another diamond. He thought he could return his diamond, but tonight he told me he has another diamond that the vendor won't let him return. I cannot return mine either at this point, so now we have TWO DIAMONDS!!
I am trying not to be angry with him for not telling me before I bought another diamond, but I am stressed beyond belief because these were very expensive diamonds and I need to figure out what to do asap. Is there some place to safely sell a diamond without losing a ton of money? Will it be hard to sell this diamond? It is GIA certified and I've copied the info below. How much do you think I would be able to sell this diamond for?
I hope it is okay to ask on these forums. Any questions I should not have asked you can just ignore, but any advice at all that someone could give me would be of so much help. I have no idea what to do and thought maybe someone can help me figure out where to begin fixing this huge mess I'm in.
