Need Appraider in Michigan

I am interested in buying a stone from USACERT Diamonds. They will ship it directly to an independent appraiser in Michigan. They have James Kroll as their choice, but the jeweler where I bought my setting for some reason didn''t speak highly of him. He recommended Steven J Till. Is anyone familiar with either gentleman, or could anyone recommend anyone else? I live about 30 miles west of Detroit in Canton, MI
