Hi everyone,

I'm searching for an engagement ring for around 5,000$. My girlfriend wants a solitaire ring with a round diamond. I would like to get her something > 1 carat (preferably closer to 1.2 or 1.3 if possible) but I would like it to be "eyeclean" and without any coloration. This seems to put me in EGL certified diamonds only. I've heard not to go anything lower than a G when purchasing EGL diamonds. I've been looking at a few diamonds and will post the links below. Thanks for your help in advance!!!!

I know they are not a ct, but this is still very substantial

ETA that nice brian gavin would allow you to get this nice bezel setting, which would make the stone seem larger.

remember, CUT is the most important thing, so you want to be able to see the stone, its specs, and an aset image of your diamond

Ideally you would want one under 2, though that first one with the 2.4 might still be worth calling in....if the aset was good and its eye clean, though im not sure
