Need Family Dr. or clinic in Toula Hills, CA.

My daughter has just arrived in Toluca Hills, CA. for a college internship program. She just got there yesterday and is sick as a dog with an upper respiratory problem. She has no idea where to go for help. I have search online for something but found nothing. Anyone know of anything close to Oakwood Toluca Hills?

Do you mean Toluca Lake in the valley? (Near North Hollywood/Burbank?) If so, I have a friend that lives right around there and can ask her! What a shame

Barham Blvd. off the freeway. She is in a very large apt. complex for temporary visitors. Next to some of the studios. I wish I could tell you more. Oakwood Toluca Hills Apts. off Barham. I am so worried about her right now. Tough when your kids branch out on their own. She can find a drugstore, but really needs a clinic or Dr. to get some serious medicine.

Yep, she''s almost walking distance to my friends'' house (and WB, NBC, etc.....) I know right where that Oakwood complex is.

Update:

She did get into one of the clinics that blueroses posted. And she does have an upper respiratory infection and symptons of strep throat. So, she is on antibiotics and a cough medicine so she can sleep. Poor kid! Well, 20 yrs. old.

She is starting an internship today with New Line Cinema. I hate that she has to show up for the first day so sick. But hopefully she will get through it. She is a great young adult and a smart little cookie. We are so proud of her.

Thank you blueroses so much. What a wonderful thing the internet can be sometimes. Your response to my post was so fast - an answer to my prayers. I don''t know why all my google searches could not turn up a Dr. in her area. But somehow you had everything she needed. Love this PS family!

Ann, I just found this and missed it last week--I am SO glad your daughter was able to get seen and get on antibiotics! I trust that she is feeling 100% by now and I hope she''s enjoying her internship! What an exciting time for her!
