Need help deciding to buy a diamond!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is my first time buying a diamond. I having difficulty deciding between these two stones.

1)2.01 ct, G, VS1, GIA EX EX EX, HCA 1.3,Fl none $25290

2)2.33 ct, VS2, G, AGS, 0 cut, HCA 1.5, Fl neg, $26360.

Should I concern about the cloud on table on the 2.33ct.
Which is the better cut? ( although the 2.01 ct is a GIA ex, it falls in the AGS O cut per HCA)
Which one is a better buy? Is it worth paying $1000 more to get a VS2 G 2.33?

Please advise.

Thank for the diamond price info. I do have few more questions, I don''t you can help out. The 2.02ct , GIA cert, priced at average diamond price. It is a good price i think. The 2.33ct, AGS000, is priced 5 -6% above the avrage diamond price. I am assuming it is the primiun for the AGS000 cert.
As they both are ideal cut as per HCA 1.3 for GIA, !.5 for AGS, should i pay the extra 5% for the GIA cert?

And the 2.33 ct is a vs2. There is a cloud on the table. May be this is the reason for being graded as VS2. Both diamons are eye clean according to JA. Will the cloud interfere fre with the light reflection?

Will there be a visual l differnce between 2.01 and 2.33? The price difference is $1000.

I do need to decide today or tommorrow.

Why do you need to decide by today? They put it on hold for you until today? If you request for idealscope image, they will put it on hold until 24hrs after they send you the images.

The grade setting inclusion for the VS2 is the crystal. The inclusions are listed in the order of importance, the grade setting first.

Visually, the difference is between about 8.15mm and 8.5mm, about 5% increase in diameter, should be noticeable.

I have it on hold for 2 days already. I don''t know how much longer they are willing to hold. They did say will hold till i get the imges.

Do u think the cloud id a concern?

no, it will be a better grade than, or at least a, VS2 as it is not the grade setting inclusion. You can ask the gemologist at JA to take a look it if you are still worried about it.

yap, the cloud is of a lesser magnitude then the crystal. Probably a VS1 cloud and the crystal being a VS2. So if the diamond did not have that crystal, it could be a VS1 as the cloud will be the grade setting inclusion now. That is just a guess, the cloud could still be a VS2 level, only of slightly less magnitude than the crystal.

Unlikely in VS2 and it isn''t the grade maker anyway as the crystal is listed first, inclusions are noted in order of significance.

Old and new format, AGSL is transitioning from the old format, without the ASET image, to the new format around the end of 2008. Last year was the transitioning period where a vendor can decide which format he wants, I think these year no longer so, I might be wrong.

If that still will not work, sometime it is the system fault so message the admin with the report concern button and ask for help.

Some members have been having trouble posting images recently, just send the image to admin and they can post it for you.

I will try to load the images . Both ideal images look good to me. We have made a decision and bought yhe 2.33 ct VS@ G. Hpoe it is good decision. Any one has any experience or comment on ja ring?
