If it helps I’ve bought three stones from them and they look exactly like the pictures - no amping up the colour for what I’ve got anyway.

They are very responsive and I'm finding when they send additional videos and images they look like the same item. I'm just having a difficult time finding size in one I like. I've gotten some from others and I question if it is even the same stone.

Which do you really really really like better? This one or small squarish from TNSC?

Hard to make a real comparison between video and pic, but I think I prefer this one to the smaller TNSC one.

I just sent Pearlman's an email that I wanted to purchase it :kiss2:

I much prefer the Pearlman one. It’s a bigger size and a better colour. It has some vividness to it which you will be able to appreciate. Mind you I’m biased towards the more vivid blues.

I like the color as well. From the initial photos I was worried it would be too dark but the additional photos showed a much more desirable color.

You're expecting it to match the colour of the stone on the hand right? Not the colour in the tweezers photograph.

Gems rarely look exactly the same as photographs shot with tweezers. As when youre holding a stone in tweezers the light floods it from all directions, front, back and sides. This makes the tone look lighter. But it wont look like that in your ring.

When you put it ontop of your finger light can only enter from the top and the sides. Once you set it in an enclosed setting light can only enter from the top. This makes the tone appear darker, even if it is the same material.

It will look much closer to the shot on the back of the person's hand. This is why we all ask for photos on the back of someone's hand.

It is also why we often tell people to aim one tone lighter than their ideal. But most people come here trying to buy a royal blue stone.... and these are the ones who really need to aim a little lighter to avoid getting a dark void of a stone. Youre trying to buy mid blue, so its not as imparitive.

Yes, I'm fond of the color on the hand knowing it will be appear darker when set. It seemed in my search, that posted photos were light and subsequent photos and videos were much darker giving me worry that it would look royal when set (which is not what I want). I think anywhere from dark cornflower to light royal when set would be fine with me. I'm excited to see it in person. Thank you so much for your help!
