Need help finding a channel setting wedding band...

Hello,

My fiancee has her heart set on the following for her wedding band...

2.5mm or less
Platinum
Channel setting
Princess cut
1/2 or 3/4

I don't know what half of those mean but... I was referred to this forum. The cheapest she's found is $1800 and I think she'd like to find something less expensive. Is her quest possible? I bought her a 1 carat platinum princess solitaire for her engagement ring and she thinks the above compliments it perfectly.

Blue Nile has one that is below your price point. It is 2.8mm wide. They have a great return policy if you decide you don't like it. You can also call ID Jewelry and see if they can do it for less. Ask for Luann she's worked with me and a lot of members. Just make sure you tell them you are on PS. Do a search on PS for channel set princess bands and you can find all sorts of info.

Well this one's from Costco for $1200. It's a bit wider, but a great price for a platinum band with 1/2 carat VS diamonds. I got my wedding band from Costco and I absolutely love it! Their rings are very good quality and in the last 5 years I have had no issues (just in case you're weary about buying something like this from there).

It sounds like she wants small stones, but the full eternity, to get that carat weight. The width is gonna be the problem. To get one that narrow the stones have to be small.

Ditto to the bolded above. Check out facetscollection.com when their site is back up. I have a channel set 3/4 eternity band from them and I'm very happy with it.

The width is really the biggest hangup on here. Finding a princess cut band that narrow will be tough. Im sure custom made it can be done just fine, but premade, not gonna be easy.
