My girlfriend loves everything pintrest and came across this ring. I received a screen shot of the ring while I was at work and said the typical male response, "oh thats nice." LOL. About a week later she said if we were to get married she would want a simple ring like this. I want to get the ring for her because she has said multiple times that she doesn't want to get married and that is ok with me but I would really like to find out information about this ring and where I could possibly purchase it. Hopefully as a surprise birthday gift, which is in September. Thanks to everyone in advance for your help as you can see I am a "newbie" and this is my first post. Also if the picture is unclear or doesn't come through at all please let me know. Thanks a bunch!Resized_Screenshot_20200101-084803_Pinterest_1577995023641.jpg

You can get it custom made

My guess is Melanie Casey jewelry. I’ll see if I can find it

Good job!

Hi, @kecho :wavey:

The website page for that ring tells us that the shank (or what they call the band) is only 1.2 mm wide.

I understand the visual allure. But 1.2 mm is perilously skinny for a ring that will be worn day-in/day-out or least more frequently than just for special occasions.

This thread dates back to 2011, but the discussion is just as relevant today as it was then:

Is your girlfriend hinting that she might want to get married now? I’d make really sure because otherwise there will be confusion when you give her the ring! I agree it’s very pretty, but not very substantial, given the price. Also, you can’t select the main diamond by the look of it so you don’t really know what you’re getting.

Everyone here was such a great help. Thank you so much

Don’t kid your self....SHE WANTS TO GET MARRIED. no need to give her this “gift” under the guise of a birthday present. It will be very misleading.

I would get this ring re-created by a jeweler who can make the shank thicker. I know the ultra-thin look is "in" right now, but it wont hold up to daily wear.
