Hello. I have spent the last few weeks learning the ins and outs of engagement rings. I have reached a point where I've narrowed down my setting options but could use your help in narrowing down my diamond options, which seem to be endless. This much I know, I would like the diamond to have the following characteristics:

Shape: Oval
Carat: 2.75-3 (ideally closer to 3 ct)
Cut: Excellent/Ideal (prioritizing this area the most)
Color: D-G (ideally an F/G as the setting, including prongs, will be yellow gold)
Clarity: VS1 and above
L/W Ratio: 1.4-1.5
Grading Agency: IGI is fine
Price: Ideally under $1,250 but I am flexible

I've been looking at Loose Grown Diamonds, but there are so many options even with these specifications that I haven't the slightest clue how to further reduce the pool / pick the best diamond. Would greatly appreciate if you could point me in the right direction, whether that be through additional specs to use in my search (e.g., depth %), sending potential LGD options, or a mix of both. Thank you!

IGI Guidelines...look at page 4 for ovals. This will only get you so far, but it's a start. I try to stick to Ex/Ex for polish/symmetry but
the EX for symmetry will knock a lot of stones out. You can play with the settings and decide what leaves too many stones or
what knocks too many out.

Once you can narrow it down to, say 8 or less, come back and post the links. We need up-close videos to do any further review.
