Hi Guys,

I just received IS images from JA for 3, 0.9 ct diamonds. Below are the links to the 3:

The gemologist feels that 185390 is the best performer out of the 3 (light performance & balance). I'll post the 3 images below. Do you guys see any reason not to purchase that one? Anything I should check with them before making the plunge?

May still look at getting a 1.0 ct I/J for comparison at home to see the difference. Haven't found all the candidates yet though...

Thanks!

The 185390 was the one I had the strongest feeling about in your original thread just based on the numbers, and I do like the image on it. It looks good!

I looked back and here's what I said: "I think the 2 G's from J(A) are worth asking about, and the second one draws me more."

I don't think you'd be disappointed if you got that J in either. The strong blue fluoro is pretty cool. :naughty:

I prefer 185930 as well. It should be a beauty!

Yes, that is the best one of the three. The F stone didn't look good enough in the picture to explore further. I might consider H color, but there is definitely a visible difference between G and J. You usually can't see it in a jewelry store, though, because of the lighting.

DS- I think the J stone in question is a BGD Blue.

I think that the color difference is going to be quite noticeable as well even with the fluorescence. The slight benefit of fluor is generally only noticeable in UV lighting such at a club, under a black light or in sunlight, so if you are hoping that the stone will face up visibly whiter than a J because of it, it's not likely, it certainly won't be as white as the G. For the minimal size increase, I'm not sure that it would be worth it to me.

Thanks again for the awesome help! I've decided to move forward with the 185390 diamond. Can't wait to actually see it. Now, I just need to find a nice setting... I'll keep you guys posted and will try to take an amateur picture once the ring arrives.
