Hi all,
I am in the process of find a diamond for my wife. It's our 25th anniversary coming up in May. Discover PS 2 weeks go. Appreciate a wealth of info and folks made available here. Been doing some reasearch & study to get myself familiar with Diamond basics.
My budget is about $22K. Kind of zooming in E-F, VVS1-IF, 1.3-1.5 carat, 3 EXs, GIA. It's for a pendant. Size doesn't have to be big. Something for my wife to treasure with.
Appreciate if you folks can provide comments for a diamond from the following choices,

and if there are better choices out there, please feel free to recommend.
Thanks! Henry.

Is high color and clarity especially important to you? It is to some people but others just aren't sure how low they can drop in these categories without it making a visual impact. For instance, when the diamond is set, most people will not be able to tell the difference between an E color and a G,but yet the price difference is huge. Likewise an IF stone will look the same as a VS2 (often even SI1) without a loupe, again a huge difference in price. So it's important to know how you feel about color and clarity before making any recommendations for you.

edit: I'm not a fan of any of your choices, but we can help you with that once we know what it is that you are looking for. =)

Thanks Christina! We both looked at the GIA certs for awhile now and went thru couple of local shops locally in our town. We did venture down to VVS2, VS1 and VS2. I think we're set on a minimum of VVS1 for now. Regarding the color, wife said minimum F. So F and VVS1 that's what I am searching.

How exciting!

As you're looking at options it's best if you stick with vendors who can provide a lot of visual info on the stones (eg, pics, vids, etc). So BN wouldn't be a front-runner but don't worry, the PSers will give you a bunch of great F/VVS1 alternatives.
