Hi, I'm on the verge on purchasing a round sapphire on gemfix with a diameter of 6.5-6.8.
I'd like a three stone setting e-ring and have no idea what I'm doing now other than the fact that the sapphire on gemfix catches my eye most after browsing hundreds of sites.

I like both sapphire 1103 and 1104. Which would you choose and why? Or others listed?
(Someone please help me with image upload tks!)

Please help me.

My budget is $1800 but

1103

Thank you, Chrono!

Ask Andrew for his opinion on the two since he has them in hand. I'm worried that 1104 is a smidge too dark but perhaps it is his photography. I would also ask how the colour shift indoors look like. If they show more violet or become slightly grayish or darken up. That might help sway your choice one way or the other.

I would worry that they both might end up being too dark in certain situations. I can't recall - does he describe the lighting conditions for the hand shots?

If I had to choose between only those two I would do 1103. it looks a bit lighter to me, plus I like the touch of purple in it. (might be my monitor though- it is acting up on me)

NOTE: Stones on this page were photographed under 5000 Kelvin "daylight" lighting.
For maximum color accuracy, descriptions were made in north-facing natural daylight,
indoors, between 11am-2pm, at 32.89°N latitude.

I like 1101 and 1106 just looking at the pictures. Please ask Andrew because he has the stones in hand and can advise you more accurately.

From his description of the lighting, that's the prime condition meaning the sapphires will look their best. Expect them to darken indoors.

I have dropped them an email and they will be out of town for 2 weeks after today. :((

Went to a local jeweller today and found out my gf ring size is 3. And she prefers an oval/cushion cut due to her long fingers.

How is Sapphire 1092?

you are right about the slight violet tint, Andrew mentioned it.:)

Looks like the nicest oval in your price range. I would still email Andrew to reserve the stone for you until he gets back.

1092 looks beautiful to me. Reserve it.
