Need opinion/advice on Pear

I like it! I love that there isn't a bowtie, and love the color!! I haven't seen too many pear asets, so I'm not sure what's "normal" but fancy cuts are definitely different. A "good" cut maybe more beautiful that an "excellent" cut. I say go for it!

Asets even for the best pear are terrible looking. How well did they say it performed? Particularly in regarda to fire and at the tip?
Personally i prefer a fatter pear, over a classic shaped.

I think the aset looks pretty good. Its a beautiful shape. If you like the faceting pattern (which looks nice to me) then I think
you found a winner.

I am by no means very educated in pears, but am liking the ASET. There are so, so many pears out there with bowties and this one seems particularly good.

Thanks everyone! I was feeling uncertain about the shallow depth but JA assures me that the stone is lively and brilliant.

nielseel...that`s a really nice stone too! Hard to decide what ratio to choose...longer pears look more elegant to me, fatter pears are prettier and cuter. I would love to have em all! I have short fingers though so a longer pear would probably look more flattering. I didn`t specifically ask about fire and the tip. Is there something I have to be concerned about

tyty333...I haven`t looked at enough pears to know what facet pattern I prefer. This one does look nice to me, and I`m glad you think so too.

Yeah pear shape is such a personal preference thibg. If the classic shape is what youre aiming for then itll be fantastic! How lucky to find an eye clean D SI2!

This one doesnt seemlike its the case but because the faceting is didderent at the tip than at the center, you just want to make sure its at least got something to offer at the tip as well as the center. Thought that will have more fire. Just the nature of the beast

What will you set it in?? I love pears and dont get enough. ( i hope your answer is tapered baguettes hahaha)

These look even better!!! I hope it's a great price because I'd definitely be all over this! I agree with Nielseel, a 3 stone baguette would look stunning! Or if you did a 3 stone pear! Either way, with this center stone it'll look gorgeous!!

There are so many options that I love! At this point I'm thinking of putting it in a delicate halo, but will wait to see what the stone looks like on my finger to see what calls out to me
