Thank you! When will your stone come?
It's a lovely ring! Dainty rings are so appealing.. I'm rather worried they might break and send the stone flying, though.. Am I being too paranoid

I saw a similar pic with a smaller center stone, but the one you showed me is prettier.

Mine is coming from Israel and I expect it will come in another week. I actually think dainty rings are easier to handle and pose less of a risk. I have a huge ring where the stone is jutting out and I’m always worried it will catch an edge of a door or a desk. No such issues with a small ring. Also spinels are quite strong.

Can't wait for you to post pics!
I've always thought that rings that have less than 1,5 mm width and shank thickness would break more easily.. It's nice to know that dainty rings are easier to handle.

Thank you Heidi2101!
I read your thread the other day, have you started looking around for a stone?
Hi there- sorry I just saw this! I’m starting to look more seriously, I’m currently reading the forums here religiously and stalking Jeff Davies stones

The ring maybe, the stone - the more they jut out the more risky it is.

@Heidi2101 No problem! Wish you best of luck with your search!

@Gemobsessed Noted. I'll keep that in mind when I look for a setting, thanks!

Finally came! It’s lovely , packs a punch for such a small stone.

I love your pretty pinks! Congratulations, Skylight and Gemobsessed!

@Gemobsessed I'm so sorry, somehow I missed your comment! It's a pretty setting, but maybe the design is not right for me.. I think the price has gone up a bit since you posted it, it's now 299.70 but with free shipping. Thank you very much for showing it to me, I really appreciate it! I haven't gotten the chance to check local jewellers for a setting, and now with some of the vendors doing a spring sale, I'm even tempted to buy a new gemstone :???: So maybe the setting will have to wait..
