So I won a .20 G-F SI2 round on ebay yesterday. It's nothing magnificent and isn't certified but I'm ok with that. I was looking for something inexpensive but pretty to upgrade my pendant. Right now I have a .10 G Si2. So my question is this, should I leave them as separate pendants? Should I do a graduating dangle? I also have a .10 oval cut that I could potentially combine with the new round? Or should I have them all be their own things? I had thought of looking for an antique style ring to put the oval in for something cute and dainty, but also have my .32 emerald cut to set since it won't be our engagement stone. None of these is anything huge, but I like small and it's fun to have small ones for projects.

So many stones, so little time. :Up_to_something:

Personally I think I'd do a graduating dangle necklace - Oval - .10 - .20

Would it matter that the oval is longer than the .10 round?

This is what I was thinking but do the oval EW.

I'm not sure if you would be a fan but what about a DBTY necklace with the oval as a drop? I know some don't like to mix shapes but I like the look.

Both of those are good options!

I imagine if I did a dbty I would need at least three more of each size of round, which would be something I'd need to work towards. I do like the e/w oval with drop though too...

What a fun project! I like the idea of mixing the shapes as well. So if I were you, I'd draft different ideas on my computer and see what design options began to catch my eye (since you could do a variety of really neat things w/ your stones :loopy: ). Let us know what you come up with!

I got the .20 today and what a catch I got! For $40.00! It is very sizable, 100% white and completely eye clean from the top. The inclusion is a fair sized little white crystal towards the bottom/middle of the stone, but you can't see it at all with the naked eye. And it has lots and lots of life!!!
I'll try to get photos later. I am going to work on drafting a design for the pendant tonight. I think I've decided east to west oval, then .10 then .20. :appl: :appl: :appl:

Here are pictures of my new .20 round and the .10 (ish) oval. I have not had the oval appraised yet so it may be slightly heavier. I'll be taking both in this week. I wish my macro were more accommodating.
