Need to see another blue spinel?

A blue spinel. 1.44ct, 7.4x5.7
A blue sapphire, 2.01ct, 9x6. heat only

Color is different outdoor. but they appear close to each other under fluorescent light.

-txgreeneyes Get one! Spinels are really sweeeeet stones, very good hardness
excellent luster, and they are affordable stones!

-distracts They are both from Tan a while ago. The sapphire is heated, but eye clean

-minousbijoux Cutting isn't that good, 9x6 is not a ideal pear poportion, but this one
actually doesn't have extinction on the tip, that's just photography.
