Nervous about Brilliance/Fire

Hello,
I recently purchased a diamond from Blue Nile and when I received it in the mail I quickly realized that "I haven't seen enough diamonds to tell if this has enough brilliance/fire." For some reason, I have never felt comfortable in a jewelry store. The salespeople usually make me feel very awkward, which is why I was leaning towards an online retailer.
To gauge whether or not the stone has enough sparkle, I ordered an Ideal-Scope to check it. I'm hoping this can put my worries to rest, but I might also want to get the diamond AGS certified. I'm not quite sure what an ASET will show vs an Ideal-Scope, which is why I'm thinking about doing both. In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of ASET vs Ideal-Scope?
Also, is there anything about the attached certificate that would make you nervous? I will upload some images when I get them.

I honestly would love any feedback I can get and I greatly appreciate it.

it is a beautiful stone. Once you see the asset that will make you feel more comfortable. Why would you want to have it sent to AGS when it is certified 3x by GIa.

Thank you very much heididdl.

The reason I was thinking about getting the stone AGS certified is mainly because I wanted to get an ASET image (although I'm not sure if I will learn anything beyond what I learn from the Ideal-Scope) and the second reason is because I thought I might learn more about the cut quality than the GIA. I think it would be a 1 for cut, which I'm not sure if I even care to be honest.

The "funny" thing is I'm usually very good at making decisions without taking too much time, but I am having a very hard time "being ok with this decision". I think I'm just really nervous that I'll make a mistake.

ASET's aren't as valuable as IS when you're talking about modern round brilliants. It scores well on the HCA, which not all GIA XXX's do, so that's a good start. The next step is to get an IS image, which you will be doing yourself. So I think you are doing it all as by-the-books as you can for having purchased from a vendor that doesn't supply images. Here's hoping the IS looks good!

Thank you ecf8503.

I just got my Ideal-Scope and it looks pretty good (as far as I can tell). I've attached two images, so that I can hopefully get some more expert opinions. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me some feedback. The darker image is from a iPhone 5 without HDR and the lighter colored image is from an iPhone 5 with HDR activated. Neither one has an external flash and I'm using the light that came with the Ideal-Scope in a room with no windows or lights turned on.

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide. I have about 2 more weeks to decide if I want to keep this stone or not.

Thank you for all of the help so far.
