Never worn alexandrite ring

I am considering selling my Alexandrite and Diamond ring. The Alexandrite is AGL certified at 1.44 carats in a round modified brilliant cut (6.69-6.81 x 4.24mm). The colour change is rated as "Prominent" and there have been no enhancements. I have an AGL Alexandrite Brief. (Dated April 1, 2009 GB108003) The stone is deep green in daylight changing to purple.
The ring is set in 18K solid white gold (gram weight is 8.20 carats). The Alexandrite is surrounded by 72 Round Diamonds (.66 cts, Colour F, VVS2 clarity), 12 Custom Baguette Diamonds (Colour F, VVS2 clarity) and 18 Princess Cut Diamonds (Colour F, VVS2 Clarity) It is a size 8--I have never worn it (it was a "guilt" gift given to me). It is quite beautiful, but I just never formed an attachment to it because of the event which resulted in me being given the ring (if that makes any sense to anyone).

I have no idea how or where I might sell it, particularly online, other than Ebay, and I really don't have any experience selling something, even there. Can anyone point me to a reputable place or have any suggestions?
