First pic: very beautiful, very delicate studs.

Super-fine millegrain.

BGD has done a wonderful job, once again!

I'm very happy, as expected!

You can more easily see in this pic how tiny and delicate the millegrain is. It provides a touch of elegance IMO to the studs.

Just in case anyone is interested, the bezels add about 1-1.50mm to the diameter of the diamonds. I haven't had a chance to go to a jeweller's to have them measured properly but based on my ruler, that's what it seems to be. So bezel-edge to bezel-edge, the earrings measure about 6.75-7.25mm.

Sorry I didn't answer your other Q re the AVC. I've decided to wait a while and get a larger one instead (sorry, Jonathan

). I want to make sure I don't repeat my past mistakes, ie. buying smaller diamonds. I'd rather practice patience (which is a very difficult virtue in my book

) and get a larger AV down the line (it helps that Jonathan is helping me to sell some other smaller unworn diamonds). Sure, you can upgrade (and that's why I LURVE PS vendors

), but you'd still need to pay for insurance, taxes, settings etc. In fact, I fully intend to upgrade these bezelled earrings when DH and I move back to SG (I'lll prob get a matching stone to my existing 1.52ct G Si1 - I think this is a nice size for my jumbo earlobes!

). Isn't it sooooo typical of me, as PS'er, to be thinking about upgrading an item that's still warm "fresh out of the oven" so to speak (?!).

I wanna see your list of wants!

The 3-stone ring: the middle one is a 1.52ct G Si1 (also recently acquired) and the sidestones uncerted G-H approx 0.65-0.70ct each (my wedding prezie from DH). The sidestones I imagine would look more or less the same size as the new stones loose, but the bezels do make the latter look more like 1ct each, esp on the ears - and that''s got to be good, right?!

I love BGD diamonds, as ya''all know!

These are like little FIREY disco balls on the ears! It''s just so amazing how much a pair of earrings, no matter how big or small, really bling...erm...I mean brighten up your face!

You know another amazing thing? I thought I was very clarity-sensitive (or had recently become so), but I have trouble finding the inclusions in these Si1 and Si2 stones!

It''s really true, Brian is very strict with his diamonds!
