I'm just curious...is your plain wedding band in yellow gold or white gold?
I'm asking you because the traditional Italian wedding band is in yellow gold and people wear it on their left hand (Italy is mostly a Catholic country),even young couples tend to buy plain YG wedding bands.

We had the same custom in Greece since....forever but during the last ten years it is very much "in fashion" among young couples to wear plain wedding bands in white gold or platinum and frankly i prefer the look and color of white gold, that's why we got our bands in 18ct white gold. You can still see many young people wearing the yellow gold bands but the majority of the young crowd go for the white gold now. Frankly, i'm happy about that, because all my diamond rings are made of white gold too and i like wearing them with my band!
As far as the custom of wearing the band on the right hand is concerned, i attribute it to the fact that Greece is mostly an Orthodox country and during the orthodox wedding ceremony the priest places the bands on the right hands of the couple and...that's where they stay forever! So even the people who have a civil wedding ceremony are following the same tradition because now it consists the rule! If you wear your band on your left hand in greece, you are considered engaged and not married!!!

Alright....so...i upgraded it again
I kept thinking that it was small and i went back to the (poor) jeweller and told him that i want him to make an identical band with same specs, but .63 tcw
So now it's a seven stone, .63tcw, E color, VVS1, ex cut... (and that's how it stays... no more upgrading!).

Anyway, I did a comparison between your first picture and the last one: there's a remarkable dimensional difference between 7 pointers and 9 pointers...well done, for the peace of your jeweler.
