New Diamond Leverback Earrings!

I absolutely lover your earrings Bliss. Well, your entire collection is to die for, but I really, really want those leverbacks. I just made an impulse purchase on studs and a pendant, but I have been sufficiently backslapped by SDL to make sure that I am getting exactly what I want and to pay no more than I have to in order to get it. So today I have to have the dreaded conversation with the store to back out of my purchase. UGH. Why oh why is diamond buyer so complicated?


I am not settling. I want these leverbacks. And for the price I was paying for much smaller studs, I can have them.

I don't have the leverbacks anymore! I love love loved them, but I only had them for a few days before trading up in size for a second pair of 2.16 ctw studs!

You know what, I still think about these leverbacks because the diamonds were soooo phenomenal. Just the sparkliest guys ever.

OK - here's the thing! I loved leverbacks in principle, but I have wonky earlobes. So I never saw them straight on. One pointed straight ahead but the right earlobe was wonky so I saw a tilted profile. I also missed the look of studs and I'd already custom set my first pair so I didn't want to undo all that work to take them out. Have you tried this style of leverback on?

Make sure you're in love with the style! I love it on others, just not on my crazy ears.

I must admit, they are gorgeous! Yekutiel gave me such an amazing price - I should have just kept those and gotten the other pair, too. I'd definitely call him! Sometimes I think I should go back and get this set and make something else out of them... The other day, I asked DH how he'd feel if I got a second piercing in my ears and his eyes got so wide. LOL. Guess not.

I thought it would be less noticeable with leverbacks. I guess I need to actually try some real diamond leverbacks on and not some dorky fake Macy''s $10 earrings.

Yes, I am hoping they go to a good home! I was never the true owner, maybe you are! They were sparkle bombs. If you tried on CZ ones and you liked those, then you will LOVE THESE. They are WAY sparklier than any CZ I've seen and just... arresting. I have OCD with diamonds and I had it in my head they should point forward all the time. They are sparkle bombs. People will stare at your ears because they look SO different from the fakies. They are just... sigh... amazing. I should have kept those guys and turned them into drops or something! LOL

I'm thinking of resetting my studs and so I finally went to a Bloomingdale's to try on fakies in a basket setting. They do not compare and looked pretty awful! So if you tried on the CZ style and liked those, you will LOVE the real thing. The difference was like night and day... crisp cut, fiery as all get out... like a crazy disco! Those diamonds were special!

That was a near miss! In her Rocky Talky thread, Miracles was mighty relieved that you saved her from this purchase! I wish you would have saved me from some pre-PS purchases. I needed some knocks ''side my head, too!

This is an older thread - I traded in these beauties for an upgraded pair of 2.16 studs! I think MiraclesRule is in the market for these and bumped 'em up!

These are now available from ID Jewelry. I'm going to email your stunning eternity band thread to DH for further Jedi training!!!!!!

Thank you Bliss! That''s so sweet of you. She''s so lovely in person and we''ve talked about it several times.. I know she wants this and she works so hard, she deserves something just as beautiful as she is.. truly.

I heart SDL!! She''s crazy for thinking she might have upset me. If I''d thought she would upset me, she wouldn''t have been the first person I contacted to say "What have I done?"

I think I can hear those leverbacks calling my name.

The only thing that upsets me is that I self- applied self-piercers on my ears in the early 70''s and have ear holes too high. I should have done it the way all the other girls did...with ice and a potatoe. Wait, that is exactly why I did it myself.

I miss those sparklebombs. If you ever get bored of the setting, they're also an amazing size for studs. So sparkly and they look BIG.

REVEAL YOURSELVES!!!! LOL. Heck, I can't blame you guys bc I'd be calling in as well. I even contemplated buying them back if miracles didn't get them. Don't worry, he has sooooo many sparklebombs. Literally tons of sparklebombs and he searches by HCA and uses Idealscope.

It's almost mystical - when he's on a mission for you, it's like the perfect pair of diamonds appear like they were meant to be yours. Tell him to get earrings that are MAZAL!!! That's what he did for me with my second pair of studs... he said they came together like a divine act of God! LOL. Meant to be. Say, "Bliss says give me MAZAL earrings!" LOLOLOL. I learned that word last time I was there.
