IMHO the second one might have too many diamonds for your stone to properly show. It might end up "pushed in the back".

I don''t think so on that setting. I have it and the diamonds are really tiny. They''re not as big as they look on the photo. They won''t be "stealing the show" so to speak.

Ok I''m shocked! Ma re - you''re a guy!!!! Well, I''d never have guessed!!!

Just goes to show that the mental picture you have of somebody can be completely wrong! Unless of course you''re tall, slim with long dark hair - in which case I got it right!

Well, I thought repeating this in a few threads or having what looks like a men''s ring in an avatar would be enough, but I guess I was wrong

So I wanted to change my screen name today, but that can''t be done so I added a signature which might give a hint

BTW, the only member of my familiy who fits your description is my sister - sorry

Just goes to show that I''m not the most observant person in the world!

Completely missed the avatar and have never seen you refer to yourself as a man but from now on Mr ma re I will humbly think of you as fully male

Rose gold bezel all the way on that one. Pretty stone, congratulations!!

DITTO omg!

Wow! That stone is sooo gorgeous. I love it.

I know everyone is voting rose gold but I actually think it will look beautiful in just white gold. I received my setting from 18kfish (on eBay) today and I am in love. It is so delicate and the workmanship was amazing (I like it better than my ering setting which cost so much more).

I like the half bezel muy mucho

Ditto to the rose gold bezel!

Beautiful stone - what a delicate pink!

I am not a huge of yellow gold (only have 1 yg ring), but mainly I don''t think I want to make it more orange... Would two tone in rose gold look nice?
Yes, unless you make the prongs/bezel white - that could make the stone really pale or (even worse) greyish in case of a bezel. In short, keep it close to warm tones (rose/yellow) and have the colder ones (white) further away.
Ma re...

I''m so glad you you put Mr. on your name. I have always thought you were a female because you have such wonderful suggestions. Not that men don''t, but will... I just go for now!!

Thank you! It''s just a lot of interest in this hobby I guess. Plus a little bit of logic and common sense

I still have no idea what to do with it ... i wish I had some settings at home I could just drop the stone in.

One thing - I have tried to take pictures of it but they reeeeally arent coming out good

It''s very hard to describe its''s color but it''s definetly not as pink as that picture makes it look like. Its a very light peachy/dusty pink/golden stone... it''s beauitiful I just have no idea what to do with it yet.

I think I have eliminated the idea of having a halo around it ... I do think it will overpower the stone. Maybe just diamonds on a split shank, that could look good... I''m just thinking out loud now so back to hunting for more settings!

I will post pictures of it as soon as I get a decent one... I''ve been trying!
