Thank you so much, everyone, for all your lovely compliments! I''ve been sure to read them to FI, since he''s the one who deserves them for such a job well done. He has been SO cute the past two days, basking in proposal glow with me. This morning he woke me up and promptly took the ring out of its box to put it back on my finger before I was even out of bed. He''s even managed to stay in a good mood despite Michigan''s disastrous start to the football season. We left today''s game a little before halftime because we couldn''t take it anymore, and on the walk back I just held my hand out in front of us and he was all smiles again. I love him so much!

I live in an apartment and don''t have any flowers growing outside to photograph my ring on, so when I saw this crazy painted flower at the grocery store for 50 cents I had to get it just to fulfill my PS duty.
