Hey everybody -

You are such a nice group of people! Thank you for making me feel so welcome, it is much appreciated.

And yes, it is a great-looking K (I think!) When I was picking it out, I was comparing it to J radiants and an F oval. The difference between the K and F was clear, and I did go back and forth between the two, trying to decide if I "needed" the whiter stone. But this cushion was just so much more full of life! So the practical side of me (if there is anything practical about buying diamonds!) was telling me that I was getting more for my money in terms of cut, liveliness, shape and size.

I''ll try posting more pictures soon - I''d like to get some clear close-ups!

THAT is a beautiful ring! I think you did fine. Specs are for knowing what you are buying so you don''t buy a K and pay for an F, but in my opinion, a stone just sings to you. You either love it or don''t, and a little color just wouldn''t bother me (I have an M so a K sounds pretty good to me, LOL!). Also, a lot of vintage diamonds have a little color. They have a charm all their own, and I love them as well. It is sparkly and beautiful and the proportions are stunning. The length to width is just perfect on your hand.

Funny you ask! I have three different bands, and none of them look good with my new cushion, so I guess I''ll just have to start shopping for a new anniversary band! Actually, my next project is to make a three-stone ring by adding side stones to my first e-ring. (Picture attached of 1.03 radiant)

I''ve been away from the forum for a while, overwhelmed with work and life (planning for my son''s Bar Mitzvah, one week away
