Hi everyone!
Just got a little stone for a new project that I wanted everyone''s .02 cents on. I LOVE LOVE LOVE old warm colored stones, and was looking for a way to pacify my NEED to have one until I find THE ONE to replace my E-Ring with.
Soooooo I picked up this little one to tide me over. I plan on using it to make a DBTY bracelet, one that I can ad stones to when I have something I want to celebrate. My idea is to do the bezel it self (to hold this OEC) in rose gold, but the chain itself in WG. Making a 2 tone piece so to speak. Then every stone we pick up along the way will be a rose gold bezel on the white chain. The reason I want to do the two tone RG and WG is because I have a rose gold bezel pendent from BGD and I love it... however the rest of my sparkles are in WG. I feel like I can use this bracelet to be the tie in piece so I don''t feel like i clash. I know I''m a weirdo.
I already talked to Lesley and they are going to add the milgrain to the bezel so it will mimic the feel of my pendent. (My pendent is floating around here somewhere on PS if you want reference pics)
My question now is, do you guys think this OEC will look OK in rose gold? It is .66 ct VS1 L color ( I wanted an M, but the only ones I could find were in the SI range...I *think* this L will be warm enough to keep me happy and allowed me to get into the VS range).
Let me know what you guys think about the color combo in general, and this stone with the RG bezel. Thanks!!
