The jeweler who made my pendant is local, but I have not met him in person. I went through Jerry Lake at The Diamond Broker. First, I showed Jerry my sketch and told him what I wanted. Jerry then met with the jeweler to work out the technical details. Then I met with Jerry again to finalize the design. After the top of halo has been fabricated, we met again to lay out the exact length of the dangles and the placement of the briolettes. Ten days later, it was done.
Thank you all for your nice comments about my pendant. Here are some neck shots as promised, but the pics are not up to Mara''s standard. I snapped these blindly with the camera pointed at my neck, so they are kind of out of focus. The last one is work in progress when only the top plate of the halo was fabricated and I was trying to lay out the exact postions of the briolettes.
MY OH MY OH MY! I have NEVER EVER seen a more regal, classic, unique necklace in my entire life! EVER EVER EVER...I used to live right by Los Altos (not sure if you live there or just go to a jewelers by there) but people in that area (Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Atherton, Menlo Park, Woodise, Sharon Heights ect) have nice nice jewelry...but your necklace, that is the most beautiful I have ever seen!
Gosh this is an inspirational piece. The center stone also looks huge in the photos. It is so beautiful and also so unique. I love it that you gave us the photo of it while it was still in progress - those parts formed together to create this beautiful pendant - wow. I love it and it looks fabulous on you!! Brava AN.
