New pendant & garnet!

So i spent this morning enjoying a browse at a local gem show - wasn't amazing by any standards but I did finally get my lovely Chalcedony set in a sterling silver pendant (see pic).

I also bought a cheap emerald-cut garnet which is just the most beautiful claret ruby red! As it was suspiciously perfect I asked another vendor I know to test it and it showed up as ruby on the machine which leads me to suspect it is "thalt shall not be mentioned"...
Pity as its sooooo pretty!

Anyhoo was a nice day out.

That is beautiful, Hotpozzum! I so love high quality chalcedony, and that looks to be supremely high quality and beautiful, like a drop of some kind of precious liquid...
