So I finally got frustrated with my ancient phone! I ordered a new Samsung s9 from at&t and a guy brought it to me and set it up. The whole process took about an hour from the order to snapping this pic. This was taken inside on a cloudy day. I think it's pretty good! 20180805_140656.jpg

DH has a Samsung. I have iPhone. I, honestly, don’t see a difference, but that may just be me. ;)2

Since we are talking about camera phones, My brother in law has a Note 8. That camera rocks! Nice pic!

HI:

While I love capability of my Samsung, generally my attempts/pics suck. I tried to take a stack snap today : EPIC FAIL. (ya you could see the windmills on my asscher and H & A in my WF band, but also all the smudges , yuk)

Oh wow... that’s a fantastic photo!! I agree with @foxinsox too that the Dalia is so photogenic. You’ll probably want to set-up some cloud storage as well, if you don’t have it already - it won’t be hard to rack up thousands of photos in no time. :D
 
It looks beautiful but you always take great pictures of your rings! How is it focused on the ring and yet the background blurs out? Would love to see a picture of the diamond head on - bet it picks up lots of details in the diamond!

Thanks @MissGotRocks it's a 3.122 J VS2 ACA. It's a "high" J according to wf.
 
What about table crown pavilion angles? Do you remember?

Because with the small table, high crown you think there would be more fire? That's why I am always interested in the specs because I think that small nuances in these numbers can produce some difference in performance. Preferences are all different too!

Exactly! I love the small table/ high crown for the fire! The GIA I traded for this ACA had a 36 crown, 40.6 PA if I remember correctly. It had a ton of fire but of course not as much white return. Ths ACA is more balanced but I definitely prefer a higher crown. I also like how it looks structurally.
 
The s9 seems to do a great job!! I'm probably going to upgrade to it sometime next year. Good to know the camera works so well!! I can't get the s8 to take a nice one for anything.
And gorgeous ring too!!!!
