#TBT New Tiffany ruby and diamond 3 stone ring!!

What a beautiful find! I love rubies but realize it's next to impossible to find an untreated stone these days. The band is lovely as well! Enjoy both, lucky you :))

Thanks Woofmama, Gemmy, Stci, Diamondseeker, Missy,Sharon, and of course Enerchi! :wavey:
I agree that the two ruby rings together are a bit busy and they are better separate. I do think I will wear the 3 stone ring with the diamond band though.
I shook the ruby tree this morning and came up with a "family photo" of the group. Missing in action is a similar watch but in yellow gold with ruby markers. Most of the gangs all here though.
On the right is a rubies by the yard Tiffany bracelet - from Ebay of course - set in platinum. I wear it as a necklace though. I went to my local jeweler and had him make an extender to put around the back. My hair covers the clasps on either side. You can see it clearer on the 2nd pic. Does anyone else do that too?
As always.. Thanks for sharing!

HI:

And a good one at that! Love it all.

Just curious, this is not the same ring you were looking at a year ago? (thread on CS). But is it from the same vendor?

cheers--Sharon

Gorgeous ruby family!

Oh, beautiful rubies Rubies R Me!!!
Thank you for taking the time to post these pictures! :appl:

Hi Aprilbaby and Missy.. thank YOU for sharing!!! :D
Hi Sharon!
No.. this is a different ring and different vendor from Ebay. Embarrassingly enough  I search "Tiffany ruby" everyday on Ebay so in the past year or two I have come across a few things I was interested in and subsequently posted them on the CS board to get some opinions. It seemed like with a colored stone there are so many variables that I realized I wanted to pay less rather than more. This was one of the few pieces rings that started from zero so I knew it probably would close at a good price. I put a snipe bid in on it and won! It's actually smaller in real life than in the pics. I had wanted a bigger center stone but didn't want to pay much more than I did. I am trying to figure out when I can get to Tiffany and get it sized down. For now I'm putting a narrow white gold wedding band on top of it to keep it on my finger! LOL.
Thanks again!! :wavey:

HI:

Gotcha. Patience paid off! Since you love rubies so much, I will be careful not to mention the Estate dealers--Betteridge--don't waste your time looking, absolutely NOTHING to see! ;)) :cheeky:

cheers--Sharon

Your ring is beautiful. The ruby is a great color.

My goodness, you have the MOST beautiful collection!!! Have you worn the ruby eternity with your gorgeous new 3 stone??

Sharon.. what eyecandy at Betteridge for sure!!
:wavey: Thanks Marcy and DandiAndi!
Dandi.. cutest baby ever on your avatar!!

Fabulous collection!!! Wow! I just love rubies and am in love with your pieces. The new three stone and the platinum eternity are my favorites. And the RBTY. And the Rolex obviously. And everything else too!

Thanks Rosebloom!
One last pic to add.. NOT MY RING though..
Last fall we were in Las Vegas and this amazing ruby ring caught my eye in a Fred Leighton window display. I had to try it on and of course take a picture. 50K.. not for me unless I win the lottery.. but I did use the picture as a phone background for a while!
It's GIA report stated that it was 5.06 carats, 9.5mm X10mm, Burmese ruby with heat treatment.
Gawjus!!

Omg, delicious! Thanks for posting the handshots! It is simply scrumptious.

Hi Maccers!
Yessssss!!! It was truly scrumptious.. my dream ring for sure.

Wow wow wow! I cannot find any better words to describe that ring! Perhaps, "exquisite" or "amazing"?

Wow--I cannot believe I missed this fabulous thread! Your ring is GORGEOUS!

Wow-eee

Oh Audi, Indi and Fancy.. how sweet you are but that last big honking ruby heart shaped dream ring was just that.. a dream. I was just admiring it.. never owned it. I had seen it in Fred Leighton in Las Vegas 2 years ago.
Funny.. we were actually in Las Vegas last week and I headed straight over to the Bellagio hoping to "visit" with my dream ring once again but found out that Fred Leighton had closed their Las Vegas location. That spot right outside the casino will soon be replaced by a Harry Winston though.
I always wonder where that ring ended up.. on somebody's hand or still languishing in a showcase waiting for me to "rescue" it!

Gorgeous ruby family! Congrats on your great Tiffany find!

Gorgeous! :appl:

I love it, the color of the ruby is divine.

Thank you so much cokitty! I have been drooling over your new ring.. it's stunning!!!!

Oh! Just saw your post too rockinruby! We do love our rubies! Thank you so much.
It's funny.. I don't own the 3 stone ring anymore. I sold it about a year ago or so.. somebody else is enjoying it now. :D
I did however have an almost exact copy of my dream heart shaped ruby ring made..
It's 3 carat heat treated Burmese stone set in almost the same as the ring that I loved so much. The original was 5 carats but the dimensions were not that different.. maybe only a mm on each side.
My local and favorite jeweler - Gross Jewelers in Garden City New York - found the stone and made the setting and the matching band.
Here are some pix.. the heart ring box is vintage from Ebay.
