goldenstar - DH was really initially really worried about the wind, particularly b/c they had been getting some crazy windy conditions earlier in the week. We''d also heard that in general, it always gets a bit windy in that area around 5 pm (our ceremony start time) and then it usually dies down after an hour.

However, the weather gods must have really been smiling on us that day b/c, although there was a nice breeze, we never really experienced crazy gusts like people were warning about. So my veil actually stayed put most of the time and I had no issues with it. I think, though, it''ll really depend on the day and your location. I''ll cross my fingers and wish you guys as much luck with the weather as we had! It really made such a difference!

mayachal - I wasn''t able to take my bouquet or any centerpieces home b/c we actually live in Chicago.

And we were already struggling to carry on all the other stuff we had to bring home that the flowers didn''t make it. I ended up leaving the bouquets with my sister...not even sure what happened to all the centerpieces, though I know a few guests were able to take them so at least someone''s getting to enjoy them for a few more days!
