I must say Albi (my kitten) can totally stare down my parents'' 100 lb black lab. She just gives him this look and he kind of whimpers and backs up to let her do whatever she wants.

Of course, he grew up with my parents'' cats too, who boss him around even more than Albi does! But they also love each other soooo much and sleep on the same bed and touch noses and lick each other all the time. SO CUTE!

Morticia, Homer is a Blue Point Himalayan. Can you believe he was discarded due to his previous owners believing that the SARS virus was transferred by cats. Unbelievable but true.

I''ve noticed quite a bit of dander on him...it worries me...he is going to the vet soon...may need to brush him more and give him some omegasupplements? They get the best food..anyone else?

MMM- So cute. I love the crossing paws. We had a cat growing up that developed bad dander and his hair got all matted (like he stopped bathing himself) it happened after our family dog died and they were good friends so I think he was depressed

Once he got "over it" his dander was gone. They are more sensitive than people give them credit for. I love my kitties!

Hi MMM,

My cat Zoe has always had terrible dander and even though I brush her several times a day she gets very matted. The only thing that helps her is to put fish oil in her food at every feeding. It makes her coat soft and silky, no mats and no dandruff. If we stop though, the mats and dandruff come back.

I am a dog person, not a cat person, although I do think cats are beautiful, and kittens are adorable. I am allergic to cats. But here is a picture from last year of my brother''s cat. We were visiting, and had put our bags on the floor, and later I found the cat "wearing" my purse. It looked so funny, and no one had done it to him; he was just found this way.
