After making my girlfriend chase fifteen clues all over New Orleans, I got down on one knee in the Botanical Gardens, slipped due to some romantic drizzle, fell on my ass, and she still said "yes." I'll never know why she said that she would that poor poor girl, but perhaps it had something to do with this 1.54 F VS1 ACA:

I cracked up reading your post You have a great story to tell your future family!!! It is obvious you put a lot of work into the moment, and I am sure she could see that. The ACA doesn't hurt, but I am sure she would have said yes with a cracker jack ring.

The proposal day was actually quite amazing. I will provide the full details when I post the rest of the pictures. It was truly a day we will remember forever.

15 clues??? That's incredible!! I love a treasure hunt story --- if you feel like sharing, we'd love to hear more details!! And how cute that you slipped!! I think that's the kind of thing that makes the proposal all that more personal and a great story for the future!
