No plans for 2 months?!?! (excited vent!)

Let me preface with this is NOT a complaint...I''m totally excited, but since I''m trying to keep timing of our engagement a secret from my friends, I figured I could safely tell you guys.

I know that my bf is planning to propose within the next 2 months. We''re going on a cruise early December and he said that we''ll be able to celebrate our engagement on vacation (woo hoo!!!). But it could be anytime over the next 2 months. The problem is that my/our schedule tends to book up months in advance - literally. So as our weeks are beginning to get booked up, my bf keeps checking my calendar. He''s never done this in 1.5 years of dating, so I''m 99% positive it''s to make sure the proposal date is still open. It''s so cute!

He did this again last night, and I''m starting to get stressed that I''ll make plans with a friend or another couple on that fated night. So after he looked at my calendar last night I finally asked him how I should know to keep that one day/night open! His response? It''s still free...just don''t make any more plans for us! He literally wants me to stop making plans between now and Thanksgiving...ha!

So as frustrating as that is to keep my calendar open, it''s also totally exciting b/c I know it''s going to be SOON...and I have a feeling it''s going to be way before Thanksgiving...yay!!!

I got a mani yesterday! Hahaha! I don''t think the proposal will be that soon, but keeping them pretty will prevent them from breaking (hopefully!!!).

It''s funny what you say about the mani. I always tease my SO about getting my nails done. I ask him all the time should I get my nails done this week so they look nice for my ring? I get them done every 2 weeks regardeless but its fun to ask...He laughs and says I''m the biggest nag he ever met!

I don''t think the guys understand why we want to have our nails looking pretty for when we get to show off our new rings! So we are the ones who have to keep getting manis! Hahaha. And, even though it''s getting cold out, I refuse to start wearing the darker colors b/c they''ll show chips too easily. Wicked will have to wait until I have my ering.

Update: BF stared at my calendar for a good 30 seconds last night. I try to pretend I don''t know what he''s doing...BUT I DO!!! Oh, and he didn''t flip the calendar to November, so fingers and toes crossed that it will be this month!!!
