you might try demetrios. When I was looking for a green dress, they came up a few times bacause a lot of their dresses come in colors. You will have to find a local store though, since that is the only way to find out what dresses come in what colors.

My original plan was to wear a burnt orange satin evening gown.

I really thought about it, and decided I might be sad if I didn't take advantage of that one time to wear a really specifically 'bridal' gown. I'll have lots of chances to wear burnt orange (or other colors, for that matter) evening gowns, but probably not a very bride-ish white gown. So it was white (well, ivory) for me.

However, I have to admit I feel a little twinge whenever I see a truly fab colored evening gown. YUM!

ETA: Freke, I looooooooove LOVE that Badgley Mischka!! I very selfishly want you to wear that so I can feel like I helped

Besides, it's so yummy!

I know Musey...I love it too. Its beautiful, but with a wedding 2-3 years away...Will you help me again then?

I think if it matches your personality, then go for it!

That being said, I like the idea of the white (or other light color) because then you are the only one in the room wearing that color and you are easy to spot as the belle of the ball.

I also prefer pale blue to the red for this reason: It seems that people are choosing colored dresses to be unique, which is great, but every person I''ve seen with a non-white dress is wearing... red. So it''s not really that original. If your goal is to be different, then go with the blue! If you just have falled in love with the color red, then go with that fabulous red gown

PS - I''m new at posting here. Is anyone else in love with this little guy? ---->

well yesterday i was a lil bummed cuz my SO and I were talkin bout dresses over dinner and he said he didnt like the look of a solid COLORED dress. So i was bummed but he liked the look with colored accents. so I figured its his day too and i could do just accents. but just a bit ago i found THAT dress and called him up the stairs to see it and he said wow thats really pretty. i said so i cant buy THAT one huh? he says for a wedding dress? i said yuo its a wedding dress. he says would you be more comfortable in something like that? i said ''you said i cant wear something like that you dont like them. he says but thats very pretty and would look beautiful on you. so i LOVE it...blue being my FAV color EVER! and am gunna try to find it local and try it on! and see how much it is of course! lol

Awesome. BF is pickier than I am. And apparently really wants me to wear white. This is why the farthest I''ll be able to go is silver...

I don''t think they are TOO bad. You should go ask on the BWW board. They''d know. I know nothing about wedding gowns, besides what I like and don''t like...

thanx...ill go check with them. ill also try to do a search to try to find prices.

That''s interesting because I plan to wear a burnt orange dress for our reception. I have no idea what that dress will be, but I''m sure on the color. My wedding dress is probably considered non-traditional because it''s a 1960s prom dress that has brown in it. I love the brown element and it looks weddingy enough that no one will complain.
