Okay like most guys i know...we know zip on diamonds until we have to get one and then research the hell of out it. So if you experts out there won''t mind chiming in here here are the details of the loose diamond from all my traveller to jewelers and online sites that i''m drawn too. Buy your own IS, take it in with you and have a look.

Oh, sorry. I thought it the stone was from a specific vendor that usually provides pictures, but I''m wrong.

Thanks All...not sure what an IS is but i''ll look it up.

I went on that Halloway Cut Advisor and put in the numbers i''m pretty much clueless what a 1.8 result is but its says excellent which is good enough for me. Its says that ''The result is for a symmetrical diamond with a medium girdle and very good polish''...but i have a slightly thick girdle and excellent polish. How does that effect the results.

The diamond itself is very nice so i think i might go with it.
