As you know, I also purchased 5mm stones for my IDJ jacket so I can wear the pendant and earrings as a set. More focus was on the pendant stone. The earring stones can easily be exchanged as Prima had lots of 5mm stones. Again, your opinions are much appreciated. I planned to have them set early this week. What about photo 3? All photos were taken at night/indoor light.

I'm afraid to say that these stones would not interest me. They are less saturated, appear lighter in tone and appear to be a bit windowed. These would go back if it were me. They aren't bad, they just are unremarkable. Sorry. :blackeye:

I tend to agree. Big tilt windows & lacking the saturation to make them special. If you can exchange them, might be a good idea to do it. A pain, but you'd be happier with them in the end.

You are affirming what I was thinking. I stopped obsessing a bit about the center stone, took a good look at the earrings and was not at all happy. Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking when I purchased them. I don't like the color and realized that the stones were windowed as well from the third photo - didn't realize it when I was looking at the stones with my naked eye.
Thank you!

In general, although I am less fussy with earring stones, these just aren't doing it for me. I don't mind medium toned tsavorites but these do not have the saturation and worse yet, have a good sized tilt window which shouldn't happen for a well cut round in a high RI garnet. I second (or third) returning these for a better pair.
