Hahahah all I can say is that I would DIE if one of my friends made me do that during their wedding!!!

Thanks for the link!

Now THAT must have been a fun wedding.
Love it.

Oh my gosh! That looked like so much fun! It looked like everybody had a great time, that''s so cool.

Cute. Obviously they had a good time, and so did the guests.

But others will copycat, and then it will lose its charm. Originality is only original once.

And while I was smitten, I was a little aghast that they did this in a church, while approaching the altar. It was just a wee bit irreverent, me thinks.

To each their own. Some weddings are a ceremony and others a show.

Now that is a couple that knows how to PAR-TAY! I bet their reception was a blast. :)

I''m inclined to agree. As usual. Cute it was. Appropriate? Not so much.

Thank you for saying that, Holly!! I kept thinking -- you're allowed to do that in a church!?!? And, what must great aunt Sally be thinking?!?!?

I thought this too. It was pretty cool and fun. But still, usually churches aren''t really ok with that - I feel the same way. It obviously depends on how much they revere the aisle and the walk to the alter.

I think most guests did love it, at least the ones we could see. Obviously older ones probably didn''t get it too much.

I would love to have been at that wedding! It was joyful and fun and celebratory - everything a good wedding should be.

I didn''t hate it or love it. I think if the church had no issue with it, they have every right to do what is joyous and wonderful for them. They certainly looked like they had a great time.

I''m all for fun and partying at weddings...but for me the appropriate place was the reception. For my ceremony, I wasn''t there to entertain anyone - I was there to get married and say my vows. That''s not to say this couple wasn''t...nor is it saying that all they were trying to do was entertain. This may have been the way they wanted to express what they were feeling and that is great too.

Me, too! I was pretty shocked while I was watching it. And, did anyone else miss the fact that the wedding party kept heading to the back of the church after every entrance? Halfway through the video, all I could think was "this wedding party is ENORMOUS!!!"

Wonder who got the idea, and who choreographed it - - and how long it will be before the wedding industry decides to offer their services to create these off-Broadway productions as just another regular wedding must-have? Like after parties, and cocktail lounges, and monogrammed lighting effects, and the next day brunch, not to mention the candy bar.

Brace yourselves. It will be a trend.

I was thinking, "This groom has a lot of chubby bald guys for friends!" Then I realized . . .

LOL, it took me a second to figure that out too!

I absolutely loved this video.

Knowing my hubby and I and our personalities, if this was allowed 28 and one half years ago, we would have done it.

I don''t see it as a theatrical production at all. I see it as two people, so happy to be getting married that they are dancing for joy over it. If we were to look at the video now, going on 29 years later, we still would get a kick out of it.

I wanted to run down the aisle to my hubby, on our wedding day. HA!!!

First, I''d''ve put a hip out about 4 steps down the aisle. Churches I''ve been to are a bit more..sedate..but I know there are churches where the congregation rocks out..this must be one-and I saw the officiant getting into it too!

I can see my brother doing this.

Yes, these are the non-denominational churches that mostly allow this. I have attended them too.

Pretty funny. But my grandparents would have KILLED me! I think it would have been even more hysterical (and appropriate) at the reception.

Couldn''t agree more! What great friends they have also.

I''m forwarding this on to my mom and grandma - no doubt they''ll love it as much and I do.

Haha... too funny...
I''d dance down the isle in a friends wedding in a sec, but I think I''d want something a little more traditional for myself!

Loved it! I forwarded it to my niece - she is getting married in August and wants to do something "different"! LOL!

AWESOME!!!!! (whitby - i reckon that definitely warrants use of the word
