Old wedding set remade into cluster cocktail ring....

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum since becoming obsessed with upgrading my old wedding set. It was a .87 marquise with channel set diamonds on the side and a wedding band to match. The stones were set in white gold, and the back in yellow. Our jeweler reset the stones (and added a few) into a hand fabricated platinum cocktail ring and matching wedding band. The specs on the center stone are:

D color
VS1
.87 marquise- presents as a whole carat- beautiful sparkly white stone..

My new set will be a 2.04 carat RB solitaire with 4 prongs with the same band as my wedding band. It will have diamonds all around the shank too.

Anyway, just wanted to show off my bling! I am very pleased with the job he did with this beautiful stone, and was glad I could incorporate it into something new rather than sell it for peanuts....

I wish! It was hideous. I thought my jeweler had taken some, but he hasn't gotten back to me on that.... He usually takes before and after of resets...
