OMC 3 stone from Chicago trip to DZ *yay!*

Apparently, even *I* am powerless to the charms of my persuasive powers --- because I succumbed while visiting DiamondZone! Hearing Woofmama whispering in my ear... "GET IT!! GET IT!!!" , well, I think she's got that whole thing down pretty pat, too. Just sayin'!

While we went back to DZ and the hubby's amused themselves elsewhere, Ilya graciously brought out all the goodies Quaddio, Rubyshoes and I had seen earlier in the day, to show us one more time - YAY Ilya - thank you!

I have always adored the OEC and sapphire platinum antique 3 stone that Woofmama bought back in April, and I have been casually scanning for something similar, but nothing came up, so when I saw this beauty, I decided I pretty much "had" to buy it. You know how that is... harmlessly standing there surrounded by diamonds and a credit card... you just HAVE to get something... its just the "rule"!

Here is my 14K wg art deco repro, 3 OMC's of 1.03 tcw, FG/VS1 and needs to be sized to go on either my pinky (my first choice) or my ring finger for another RHR. Please share your opinion above!

I can understand the pinky idea as you seem to be running out of fingers,but I want to say I try to wear a pinky ring, love the look of a pinky ring and every time I wear one on my pinky I end up putting it in my wallet before the day is done. It just bugs me.
I wear a ring on my middle finger right hand and sometimes a thumb ring, but no to the pinky.

I vote pinky ring, though I agree with Elisa - I can't wear them either. I *want* to because they look elegant yet eccentric to me (in other words, like *perfection!*), but I have crooked pinkies, and it just doesn't work. Bah. But for a beauty like that, I'd certainly be willing to try, and try again!

Beware the pinky, if you wear it next to your wedding set (I'm assuming you still wear your half eternity sometimes?) or even any ring on the ring finger, you'll have to squish it down all the way on the pinky, scooch the ring finger rings up a bit, and still have to take a bit of care they don't scratch. I like the pinky idea, and you should go for it if you are OK with a little re-jiggering as described.

Ooh, you got it, how lovely! It did look very very beautiful. I think pinky rings look really cool and unusual but it might be too much competition for your wedding set. It might also scratch it? So I vote RHR.

I had not thought of the 'awkwardness' factor of having to adjust a pinky ring w RHR wearing, because I do not normally wear a pinky ring (they are all sized for my R or L ring fingers) - that's a good point and I would not have thought of that! Thanks JaneSmith for that - its making me rethink the pinky concept. I just thought that would be a way of wearing (YET ANOTHER!) ring if I started to branch out and go to another finger!

I love it in the sun - the side view mirror in my car is my new fixation, as I continue to hang my hand out the window and admire the sparkles! I should get to Rona/Lowes/Home Depot and check out the big box lighting!!

Happy I did decide to get it - its branching out from my usual style but I do love a 3 stone. They are always what I'm drawn to - that, and bands... oh, I do love a good band....

Anyway on to the vote: I lurve the idea of a pinky ring and would like one for myself, but I think this particular ring is more suited to be worn on the ring finger. Size that baby up and then go shopping for a skinny band for your pinky.

The votes are certainly more RHR than pinky. I'm wearing it today on my pinky (and it makes me nervous that it could slip off...) but I am probably leaning more towards RHR than pinky, overall.

Another vote for RHR. I remember it standing up a little off the finger, so it might be a tiny bit awkward on the pinky. I'd be afraid of accidentally smacking it against something. But as a RHR -- perfection!
