Hi Everyone;
I bought a pink spinel and I took it to a jewelry company near me (I wont mention there name yet). I was told that they had a jeweler who came in on Sundays and would be able to mount the ring and so I could pick it up on the following Tuesday. I was called on Monday and they told me that it was not ready yet because the jeweler wanted to do some additional things to the ring to make it really look nice so they said it would be ready this past Sunday (yesterday). So no one called me yesterday from the store, and so I called today to see it if it was ready yet and the sales lady I spoke to said she did not see it but she would have the store manager call me to let know what was going on.
I am mad about this because I wanted to give it to my girlfriend soon and so I picked the setting I did because it was right there. I could have gotten others but it would take 4 to 4 weeks to have it ready. Then on top of that not being contacted yesterday I think was unprofessional.
If in fact it is not ready becides just complaining, is there anything I can do?
Do you all think I am justified in being mad about the situation? Thanks
