I saw that, and I''d be more inclined to get that first Danhov setting than the halo one. I can''t exactly say why, I guess the halo''s aren''t what everyone is getting these days, and while I am looking to have a unique ring I just don''t want it to be THAT unique. I feel like a tiffany setting is too plain, but a halo would be too much, therefore I''m compromising with the sidestones.
I know she wants to get some stones in the wedding ring. I have actually gotten a little bit of hypothetical input from her without going out and saying, "What do you want in a ring". So far I''ve played it off like, I won''t be in a position to get a ring until next summer and even then I won''t be able to spend more about $3,000 and that should get her a half carat or so. Therefore when she sees a 1 carat radiant with a half carat of side stones and then another half carat on the wedding band she is going to be SOOO suprised. Even then she won''t know what an H color, VS2, premium cut is, but I will!
