I recently had some rough (Afghan Ruby and Afghan Indicolite) cut and just wanted input

The Ruby you definitely need to find out about treatments and it looks fairly heavily included - is it?

The middle Indicolite is nice and my favourite of the bunch. I hope this isn't too dark as these have a tendancy to be.

The right Indicolite looks heavily included and has an enormous tilt window so unfortunately the photograph doesn't do it justice. It probably looks much better face on.

Any proof that they are untreated (especially the ruby)? I agree with LD that the center indicolite looks to be the nicest of the batch.

I would also be curious whether the tourmaline on the right has a closed c axis, as it looks like it might. If so, what happens when viewing the stone from the side - is it a dark wall?

Tourmaline 1: 8.3x4.9 - 1.24 cts.
Tourmaline 2: 7.6x5.1 - 1.06 cts.
Ruby: 5.3x48 - .88 cts.
