Opinions/speculations welcome re diamond rings from pawn shop

Hi!

I was confused about the carat description- that makes sense that it’s a range for a category. So it would probably be maybe 40 points?

To my naked eye it looks obviously and immediately very yellow (maybe some brown?), which is in line with the tendency for old cuts to be warmer. And it is eye clean as far as I can tell. Up really close I’m pretty sure I can see a white feather. So definitely not an F1 D ideal cut lol. It did seem too good to be true for that price.

The table is really tiny yes! There is no sun today but will get some tree shots.

I’m going to get it appraised anyway.

I have been wearing it today and I think it’s adorable, despite it actually having a very low colour grade and inclusions and looking smaller than I expected.

I also think I’m now smitten with old cuts and love it all the same. Thanks again!

Yes I also loved things here, and at many other Etsy stores... so many beautiful pieces but beyond what I wanted to spend. Hopefully one day.... Antique/vintage is my favourite style for just about everything!=)

What a fun hunt! You’ll be hooked on old cuts now. :) My pawn shop find is how it started for me years ago!
