I bought this opal in October after my niece was born but I haven''t had it set you. It is a beautiful orange color. Came from Michael E.

Oh I loved this opal and almost bought it. Is it as gorgeous IRL as it is in the pictures? I bet it has the most beautiful play of colors!!

Here's an orange/brown/yellow native-cut Sri Lankan sapphire (2.2ct) in Van Craeynest no. 483 (Love in Bloom has a lovely white with purple spinel version

). The stone is (supposedly) untreated.

It''s not a spess, but I just ordered myself this brown/orange zircon. 15.60x5.00mm, 4.75cts. This forum is good for me - or bad depending on how one looks at it. I normally don''t buy much in the way of stones for myself - I love them, but I deal with so many professionally that the want for a personal collection tends to be more dormant. You guys are helping me realize I should have a few more pretties just for me.

i believe the subject is "orange".....and in my mind any stone of that color is appropriate....and yours is certainly lovely.

I'm not usually drawn to oranges unless their colour screams at me! This one did! It's 64.50ct of Citrine. After seeing all the beauties in this thread, I think I need to rethink my ambivalence towards orange because there are some in here that make me drool!

Orange is my favorite. I have collected many in my search for my HG orange, like quantity would somehow make up for not finding "the one" lol!
