Ordered my wedding band!

I hope you''re all well!

So DF and I went into Leon''s office on Friday and ordered my wedding band - very exciting! I''m going for a two-row "Marina" band - Leon said he named this style "Marina" after Marines stripes on their uniforms. Anyhoo, it''ll be two rows of diamonds all the way around, with a very thin airline between the two.

My engagement ring is below - we''re having each row of the marina band match the thickness (about 1.7mm) of the engagement ring, meaning that the TCW of the ring is going to end up being a bit more than Leon usually does for this style of band... but thankfully my lovely fiance said "well, if we''re doing it, we''d better do it right!", which is great and generous!

Anyhoo, it''ll be ready by March 8th (Leon put that date down as apparently it''s International Women''s Day - you''ve got the heads up!), so I''ll be sure to post pics then!

... and this is basically what I''ve ordered, but I think my ring is going to have a larger TCW. According to Leon''s website, this is .73tcw, and mine he estimated at about 1.5tcw.

Thanks everyone! I''m very excited to see the finished result - and to get married in July to my wonderful fiance!

What I really love about the Marina band as a wedding ring (eh, apart from the EXTRA sparkles that two rows will provide.... let''s be honest!

) is that it''s one overall ring, but made up of two separate, but joined, bands. That''s really how I see my future marriage to my DF - we''re both separate, independent people, but will be joined together to create one couple/marriage - though remaining our own people at the same time. Does that make sense?! Anyhoo, that really sold me on this style of band.
