I don''t have photographers following me everywhere, but I try to at least look presentable when I leave the house. No, I completely understand what you mean! Granted I wear very little make up, matter of fact I wear lip gloss and mascara probably 360 out of 365 days in the year...and I think there is a way to be casual without being sloppy, trashy etc. Although celebs are ''just like us'', they have built their careers on an image, and then when they reach a certain status, they feel they can do whatever they want and blame it on the ''I am a regular guy/gal'' line...UMmmm I don''t THINK SO! If I get paid millions and millions of dollars to walk around looking PRESENTABLE I don''t think I would complain...I can understand the off shots that the paprazzi''s inevitably get HOWEVER, when have we seen a bad shot of Halle Berry? Angelina Jolie? Ashley Judd? I have yet to see any and it''s because I think they have natural beauty.

Believe it or not, I''ve seen pretty ugly pictures of those other celebs you named (well maybe not Halle Berry, but I''ve seen pics of her that make her look very "ordinary"). One picture I saw of Angelina Jolie made her look almost scary. Most of what we see of these people in the movies, on TV, in their music videos, etc is VERY staged. I''m not one to go around with my hair messy, or dressed like crap, either. But I''m telling you, if I had papparazzi stalking me 24/7, I''m sure that eventually they''d get some pretty nasty shots of me! Especially if they were using a zoom lens and trying to get a shot of me when I get out of the pool, or when I first get out of bed in the morning.

You are right that these people build their career and reach the status that they have based on image. BUT...they are also human beings and probably don''t have their hair, makeup, and wardrobe people with them every minute of every day, either. If I pay money to see them in a movie, or tune in to MTV to watch them in a video, or go to see them in concert...sure I have certain expectations that they aren''t going to look hideous or gross. But if those celebs are at home, on the beach, or shopping, or in the privacy of their hotel while on vacation, I think that they have every right to look however they want to look. And if that''s ugly or trashy, that''s their business and not my place to judge.

Brittany Spears has never been even remotely attractive or interesting to me. NEVER has, NEVER will. Made up or otherwise, I think she''s simply gross and it makes me sick to my stomach to think that little girls all over the world aspire to be just like her.

You are all right! The natural look is anything but, and I have gone out of the house just to run to the store and of course look like ick and have to run into someone I know who is looking totally chic. My newest theory is go out looking average most of the time, then, when you go all out, you look like a million bucks!! Stars are human, and I would bet if we had personal trainers, chefs, make up artists, stylists for our hair and clothes and it was our job to look good that most (not all) of the time we would look at least CLEAN. That said, stars do gain weight, have acne issues and sometimes pick UGLY clothes. I just will say that Britney, in my opinion, is white trash and I would never want my daughter to admire her. I hope the little sister doesn''t fall prey to this stuff...another one who makes me sick is Paris Hilton...she makes the same dumb trying to be sexy face in every photo...I think the younger sister is MUCH prettier and seems more down to earth...just my two cents!
