Oh, pretty!!!

Okay, decided I''d jump in and might as well use it as an excuse to learn to post pictures (it''ll be handy one day, right?)

Here''s the first ever ring I fell in love with (and most likely to be receiving eventually) It''s a Natalie K, one of the simplest ones

Had to jump in here--of course b/c I love the bling--but more b/c Denver, I just ADORE your new avatar!! That is one of my all time favorite movies.

You must find out where that top right, split shank, ring is from. That is exactly what I have been looking for and I am "supposed" to propose in a month. :)

Oh, and I don''t have $8000 lying around for the Daniel K version.

The first time we EVER went ring shopping i fell in love with this one... I see it all the time in bridal **** and still have to catch my breath. I almost cried when i looked at it my hand. Unfortunatly, it was a little more than we were planning on spending.

Okay Angel...that is one of the most beautiful settings I have seen!! I was just drooling over that set on Michael B''s website the other day. You never know, you may get that one...

Hope you do so you can share the goodies with us.

I love the 3 sided Michael B too... I recently tried the set on but unfortunately it was a little too thick for my finger

. It's 4.5 and thin. I adore the thin paves. Oh well I can't have it all.

njc: love the side view... droooooooooooool... love the heart detail and look at that little baby (right from the center ston) shows it's arrows, wow!

I LOVE this thread!
I particularly have a thing for antique/vintage type rings and the Tiffany 6-prong solitaire :P Since the picture of the Tiffany ring has already been posted on this thread I won''t post it again. :)

oooh ooh. I have one, I have one! Or a couple actually. Its funny, when we were ring shopping, I had my heart soooo set on my e-ring that I didn''t even really CONSIDER anything else (plus I already had my center stone, so I was somewhat limited).. but now I see yummy rings I love all the time!

there is this one..

OGI_161DAM8WA_L.jpg

I know its not that different than a lot of the eternity sets on here.. but I saw this one the other day and I was drooling! Its by OGI? I''d never heard of them, but they make TONS of eternity bands.

Or this little yum yum

102-188-180.jpg

the side stones on this one are .40 each.. and they were showing it with a MONSTER center stone in the store.. droooool..

I liked this one too, but I liked it much better in person..

NJC- I LOVE that ring you posted too.. Is it a Ritani? I love the little heart!!

and SNOW HAPPY - that first ring you posted is TO DIE FOR! It belongs to a PSer? I''ve never seen it before. Love it!

Hi MelissaSue!

I love that first ring too. I''ve a vintage Tiffanys ring from the 1920s. I hope to custom make a ring based on that design. I particularly love the ribbon design on the side of the ring. As you can see it extends to basket-type part of the ring (pardon the lack of the correct technical terms), do you think it would be ok to have a plain basket setting or something else in place of the diamonds? I think the number of diamonds it too many for the small budget :P

Thanks :)

erin what are the details on that Harry Winston ring? I love it!

I think it would be totally fine to not have the diamonds on the basket. It would be just as beautiful from the part that everyone sees! Its such a pretty ring..

Here''s a set I just found today that I love. . .

MichelleCarmen -

Those rings are so beautiful! I like how you only totally notice the flowers until close up...AND they''re a matching set.

Bravo :)

Do you mind if I ask you the same question I asked MelissaSue regarding the diamonds on the outside of the basket in the ring I posted above?

THanks! :)

Hi,
Yes, I think that ring would look good w/out the diamonds. It looks like the side part connects to the basket, so possibly having the pieces attached separetly rather than directly linked together would help. For sure, for this design, you would need something sketched up. I hope you come up with something cute!

last one.....?

These are both Tiffany -- I like the asscher/square emerald with the pear sidestones and pave.

I saw this round split shank here Posted by Fatafelice and HAD to see it in person.

I went to Tiffany's yesterday and verdict is: It sits too high.

But it's awful pretty.

I hope someone does a custom setting like this.

I think this one is Daniel K's.

yummy asshers!

The first of those two is the Tiffany legacy...YUM! The second one looks more like the Daniel K...again, YUM! I''d happily accept either!
