A purple pear sapphire. It's actually more red than purple to my eye. It fluoresces red as well which might help the red color. The second picture makes it look a bit pink but it isn't.

I bought this sapphire ring at Intergem back in March because I couldn't resist how blue the sapphires were. The sapphires are about 3-4mm each.

And finally a star sapphire. The star isn't perfect but it's a bit better than I was able to capture. The short legs are a bit too short. The inclusions aren't as visible to the naked eye either.

I like all!!!

The pair looks like a delicious sweetie! Yumm....

Oh, yay, a star !

All beautiful, though.

Is that green gold, by chance, in the first photo?

All great treasures, but I'm particularly drawn to the pear sapphire - wonderful colour and awesome that it also fluoresces!!!

Gorgeous gorgeous blue sapphire ring! Great colour AND great setting. BTW, the setting for the blue and pink stone caught my eye. Was that custom or off the shelf? It's very unique.

Blue sapphire ring looks gorgeous. Antique mounting, or at least it looks antique.

The other two sapphires look very nice, too. I especially like the pink one.

You're killing me, Kismet! How can any one person have so many beautiful things? The sapphire ring looks neon and the purple sapphire is beautiful. What are the stats on the purple sapph? And can I follow you around and learn from the master? :naughty:

Thank you Txgreeneyes, Hot Pozzum, Enerchi and Arketia for your nice comments!

Yes, the leaves are green gold. The rest of the ring is yellow gold.

That's a pink and purple sapphire ring that I bought from Fay Cullen a few years back.

The blue sapphires are a bit darker than the photos show but they are as vibrant blue as can be. The purple sapphire is just over 1 carat (I don't have exact specs here). AIGS lab report stating that it's unheated.

Haha, you'd be much better off following around someone who has a plan. I just bumble around until I see something I like.

Those sapphires are amazing!

Can you tell us where you purchased the star sapphire?

I purchased it on ebay from Cresla. The picture of it was fairly accurate. It showed the non perfect star and the color was pretty close. The shipping took forever though.
