BUT, I have another suggestion. I'd send the stone to Brian Gavin to fix the chip aaaaand to possibly recut a little to make it ideal. That is a pretty big chip and I would be afraid to just let a jeweler smooth it out. You may as well let an expert diamond cutter fix it before you send it to Leon to set. I'd want the stone to be as perfect as possible, if it was me. Brian has done some beautiful recuts, and it is not very expensive.

Beechezz - Yes it is in the loving hands of Leon.... and I''m on pins and needles waiting for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe some day I''ll have it recut... we''ll see.... eventually I want 3.5 to 4 H&A..... and put this one in a bezel pendant.... I''m crazy!
